About the project

Client: an online women's clothing store. The primary sales channel before launching ads was Instagram Shopping and organic reach. The goal was to scale sales through paid traffic while maintaining a positive ROAS.

Task

Launch profitable advertising on Facebook/Instagram for the clothing store. Reach stable daily sales through paid traffic.

What I did

  • Connected Facebook Catalog and configured a product feed for dynamic advertising
  • Launched Dynamic Product Ads — automatic product display to users based on their interests and behaviour
  • Set up retargeting for users who viewed products, added to cart but did not purchase
  • Ran an A/B test of audiences: buyer lookalike vs. fashion interests
  • Optimised campaigns for the Purchase event with a target cost per conversion

Conclusion

Dynamic catalog ads are the most effective format for clothing e-commerce. Automatically matching products to each user's interests delivers significantly higher CTR compared to static ads.
