About the project

Client: an online store of smartphone accessories — cases, screen protectors, chargers, earphones. Wide range, low average order value, high frequency of repeat purchases.

Task

Scale sales volume through Facebook/Instagram while maintaining profitability. The niche is competitive — clear segmentation and repeat purchase work were essential.

What I did

  • Connected Catalog Ads with a full product feed for automatic dynamic advertising
  • Segmented the audience by device type (iPhone vs. Android) — different creatives and offers
  • Launched "abandoned cart" retargeting with a reminder and an additional discount
  • Set up LTV campaigns: special offers for existing buyers
  • Tested formats: product carousel, collection, Stories — the collection format won

Conclusion

In the accessories niche, volume is the key driver. With a low average order value it is essential to build repeat purchases: one customer replaces their case every few months. Retargeting of existing buyers delivers ROAS 2–3 times higher than acquiring a cold audience.
